Steve Bowker

Singer/Songwriter

Steve spent several years on the road as a touring singer and musician playing with some well-known Seattle-based bands performing throughout the western United States and Canada before taking a long hiatus.

The creative fire came back after attending a writers-in-the-round at Amy Grant’s farm outside of Franklin, Tennessee. Steve’s wife Kathy had booked the trip hoping that it might rekindle Steve’s love of playing music. Before long, Kathy became his cowriting partner, contributing her newly found talents to every song. Kathy is also the primary writer of the song The Real You which she started composing after learning a few guitar chords.

Now, Steve is excited to announce the release of his album, Singing to the Moon. This project marks a milestone in his artistic journey, as he returns to the type of music he grew up listening to with a collection of original songs influenced by country, folk and blues.

Singing to the Moon delivers 11 tracks with a glimpse into Steve’s personal experiences and reflections from the driving rhythm of Oklahoma to the somberness of songs about loss, like Cold Hard Rain. As he steps back into the spotlight, fans old and new can look forward to an authentic experience that celebrates the timeless spirit of Americana music.
